Add and edit record using different edit mode

Hi , I have a case where for add and edit record in grid want to using different edit mode. let say for add new record using dialog mode, but for edit existing record using batch mode.

Can this be done within the grid component ? or Do you have any workaround to achieve this ?

Thanks for your patience.

You want to use both Batch edit mode and Dialog edit mode at the same time. It is not possible to use both edit modes(Batch and Dialog) at the same time. Because Batch edit mode is based on cell while Dialog edit mode is based on row. So only one edit mode is used at a time.
