Cannot delete node or any object

Hi,

Got this diagram (see attached) saved from a prior version of my app. Suddenly after a few weeks passed I loaded the diagram again in my app but was unable to delete any object. Saved and loaded the diagram again and I still can't delete any object. Any idea why?
