SSRS slow with Bold Reports but fast when rendered directly.

boldReport.pngBrowser.png Hi,

I am trying to load RDL reports from a remote report server to my blazor-server application running in my pc using bold-reports api. But it took 20 secs to render report with bold reports while the same report took less than 1 sec when run from browser directly (same parameters and client machine) . please see the attached screenshots. Is there any way I can solve this issue ?

Thank you

Hi Rijas,

Thanks for contacting Bold Report support.

We have validated the reported issue with the provided snap. We have the EnableVirtualEvaluation and DisablePageSplitting custom properties in the report level changes to improve the performance. Could you please set this property in your report and confirm whether the issue is resolved or not? Please, set the below properties to increase the performance

CanGrow - set false - for all table cells, or set it as true for only to required cells.

https://help.boldreports.com/embedded-reporting/javascript-reporting/report-viewer/faq/improve-the-performance-while-loading-report-with-huge-data/

EnableVirtualEvaluation - set the property for the report as in the documentation.

https://help.boldreports.com/embedded-reporting/aspnet-core-reporting/report-viewer/custom-properties/report/#improve-performance-and-handle-large-amount-of-data

DisablePageSplitting - set the property for the report as in the documentation.

Hi,  Thank you for the response.  I tried the settings suggested but performance didn't improve at all. The report still take around 20 seconds to be rendered.  If it helps you, the report is less than 100 rows long.
