SFGrid is not auto fitting columns correctly

Hello support team

I've been trying to make SFGRID auto fit columns properly. I have set AutoFit property = true for all columns. Also I have called method AutoFitColumnsAsync() after component is rendered. But the largest text for the column is not fitted. It always cut off the end of text.


Please check attached project.


I appreciate any help on it.

We have confirmed this as an issue and logged the defect report “Column values does not autofit properly when enabling GridLines.Both” for the same. Thank you for taking time to report this issue and helping us to improve our product. At Syncfusion, we are committed to fix all validated defects (subject to technological feasibility and Product Development Life Cycle) and this fix will be included in our upcoming patch release which is expected to be rolled out on or before 4th October 2022.

Hi Kleber,


Sorry for the inconvenience caused.


Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we could not include the reported issue as promised. So we have planned to include this in our upcoming volume release which is expected to be rolled out on October 26th   , 2022.


We will update you once the release is rolled out. Until then we appreciate your patience.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.


We are glad to announce that, we have included fix for the issue “Columns get misaligned when column width and grid width is not defined” in our latest release.  So please upgrade to our latest version of Syncfusion NuGet package to resolve the reported issue. Please find the Nuget package for latest fixes and features from below.
