Pdf3DAnimation example

Hello,

I am able to create a 3D pdf file using Syncfusion. But there is no example on how to add animation on 3D model at pdf. At the API reference there is page showing Pdf3DAnimation class but no more information on how to use it.

Can you share an example on how to add animation to 3D models on PDF files please?

Hello Irfana,

Actually what I was looking for was the Pdf3DAnimation class mentioned at https://help.syncfusion.com/cr/file-formats/Syncfusion.Pdf.Interactive.Pdf3DAnimation.html

I can load a .u3d file and export it as pdf with syncfusion. But I need to add animation to this exported pdf. The link above describes a class called Pdf3DAnimation, which I think is for this purpose.

I need to get a sample on how to use it because at the class definition there was no example usag

Please refer to the code below to add animation to the 3D annotation

//Create a new PDF document.
PdfDocument document = new PdfDocument();
//Create a new page .
PdfPage page = document.Pages.Add();
//Create a new pdf3d annotation.
Pdf3DAnnotation pdf3dAnnotation = new Pdf3DAnnotation(new RectangleF(10, 50, 300, 150), @"Input.u3d");
Pdf3DAnimation animation = new Pdf3DAnimation(PDF3DAnimationType.Linear);
animation.PlayCount = 10;
animation.TimeMultiplier = 3;
pdf3dAnnotation.Animation = animation;
page.Annotations.Add(pdf3dAnnotation);
//Save the document to disk.
document.Save("Output.pdf");
//close the document.
document.Close(true);
