grid excel filter item list virtul scroll

Hello,

I have a grid with excel filter with 5000 items. 

I have already enabled args.FilterChoiceCount = 5000   so i could see all the items.

However the filter becomes sluggish in performance. 

1. Is there a way to improve performance when there is a large number of items to filter? 

2. Is there a way to enable virtual scroll for the filter items list?

We have analyzed your query and regret to say that we didn’t have virtual scroll support for filter items. We can suggest you to give filterItemscount as minimal and search value in search box which you wants.

i have 5000 filter items. I saw that syncfusion limits to first 1000 records. 

should I set OnActionBegin => if filter action then  args.FilterChoiceCount = 50   to improve performance?

From your update, we suggest you to set FilterChoiceCount value with reduced count (say 50-100) for better performance.
