SfCombobox inside SfTextInputLayout opens keyboard when IsEditable is true in iOS

When we click in the dropdown button, not the entry, the keyboard opens with the popup, but that doesnt happen if SfComboBox is not in SfTextInputLayout, and even in Android, just in iOS. How can we open the dropdown in IOS without opening Keyboard?

We have checked the reported issue and we could able to replicate the same. We have fixed the reported issue “SfCombobox inside SfTextInputLayout opens keyboard when IsEditable is true in iOS”. Please find the fixed sample with assemblies in the attachment.


Assembly version: 20.2.0.44


Please note that we have created these assemblies for version 20.2.0.44 specifically, to resolve the issue reported in this ticket. If you have received other patches for the same version for other products, please apply all patches in the order received.

This fix will be included in our upcoming release which is expected to roll out on September 6, 2022. We appreciate your patience until then.

We regret the inconvenience. We could not able to include the issue fix on today’s weekly release. We will include this fix in our next weekly NuGet release, which will be rolled out on September 13, 2022. We appreciate your patience until then.
