Hi Guys
I am trying to create a PDF form that is going to group certain data for me and then present the groups separately per page of the PDF .
So one dataset that is grouped on a specific property and then the grid gets created in the pdf but the pages start with a new page when the group value changes
Tried looking at something in PDFGrid that can do that but it does not seem to do that out of the box
Any other suggestions ?
Thank you
Hi Pierre,
We have attached a sample to create table by entering the data manually or from an external data source and draws the grid with different datasets on New page along the output document for your reference. Please try this in your end and let us know if it satisfies your requirement.

hi Irfana
Thank you for your quick response
I am including the code you sent me that I have made changes to so that I can show you what my requirements are
Also attaching the pdf file
As you can see in the code I took the students list and grouped the data according to the state field
Then I created a page for each group
this seems to be my solution to my problem I was just wondering if the PDF grid had some kind of built in function to handle paging by grouped data or not
I will use this work around for now though . I hope I can still use page numbers in the pdfgrid though because I think that might be an issue now though
Thank you for your assistance

We do not have support to draw the grouped PdfGrid data. The requested feasibility is out of the pdf scope and we cannot be able to proceed further with this requirement. |

We have modified and attached the sample to add page numbers as footer to the pdf document for your reference. Please try this in your end and let us know if it satisfies your requirement.

If this does not meet your requirement, we request you to share more details like modified code snippet, output document. so that it will be helpful for us to assist with you further on this. |
Please let us know if you need any further assistance in this.
