Excel export to working because of invalid character

Hi,

we have the issue that the export for excel do not work if there is somewhere an invalid character excel cannot handle.

Is there a way to filter them out before doing the export or tell the export that the row should skip for the export?

The invalid character is in this string: 

aber Probleme-> evtl

For the case it is removed by copy I add a screen screenshot as well.
