Can't get android studio working with flutter

If i told you I had a small amount of experience with HTML, CSS and Java, I wuld be Fluttering myself....so take it easy with me :)

I have followed advice in tutorials to download android studio and flutter, and I have got it to a point where I can run Flutter Doctor and all is fine. However....

When I create a new fluttter project there is no main.dart file. No dart files at all in fact. The closest i can find is an activity main file of .xml type. I have been trying to figure this out for the past 2 weeks but I'm at a loss of what to do except ask for help.

It does have a libs folder, ut the folder is empty. There is also no IOS folder. It doesn't matter if I have "project" selevted at the top or "Android", it dtill doesnt show anything in libs folder and no main.dart anwhere.

Hiya  Yuvaraj,

Thanks for your reply, that helps because I looked at that page before posting here but couldn't find what I need. Now I see right at the bottom it directs you to 6 different places for community help. As far as I can tell, 4 of them might be applicable to me:

- flutter discord

- community slack

- stack overflow

- reddit

Could you giive any guidance on which one might be relevant for me?

Many thanks,
