Document editor doesn't include the format of the original document that is opened.

I tried to open a word document with styles and format in document editor. 


But when the document has been opened in document editor, its formats and styles are not there anymore. 


Can I know if word processor can handle this kind of formats? If there is a solution for it, please provide a sample. Please let me know if there is anything more that you need. I've also attached the word document that I used and 2 screenshots.

First paragraph is not similar to MS Word. This paragraph has advanced character spacing feature. Currently, document editor doesn't have support for this feature.

I also have another document which has 2 columns of text in a single page. 

For that document even in the stackblitz that you provided the result is not the same as the document.

I've also included that document in the google drive link below. Can you please help me test that document also.

Hi Kuan,


We are cross checked your shared document. Document contains Multiple column layout. Currently, Document Editor doesn’t have support for “Multiple column layout”. We already logged the feature request for this. 


We don’t have any immediate plans to implement this feature. At the planning stage for every release cycle, we review all open features. We will let you know when this feature is implemented.
