Area Chart vs Step Area Chart

Question

Hi,I need one area chart to plot a series with more than 5000 points. The y value can only be 0 and 1. Which chart type will get the best performance?

Hi W4A,Greetings from Syncfusion. When comparing AreaSeries and StepAreaSeries both have almost the same rendering
behavior, so there is no difference in the performance. Due to series
animation, it will look like a performance decreased, so we suggest you set
the animationDuration property to 0 to disable the series
animation it will help you to increase the performance of the series
