Could not load file or assembly 'Newtonsoft.Json, Version=11.0.0.0

I'm getting an error on an asp.net core 6 project that I just pulled Syncfusion into. Right away, it can no longer run due to not finding Newtonsoft. It wants version 11 and Syncfusion came with version 9.

System.Reflection.ReflectionTypeLoadException

Hi Neil,

Greetings from Syncfusion.

We have validated the reported issue at our end. We let you know that the issue has been resolved from V20.1.0.61. We suggest you to upgrade the Syncfuion.EJ2.AspNet.Core NuGet to 20.1.0.61 version, after upgrading delete bin and obj files, clean the solution, then build the application. Please refer the below image for your reference.

Please get back to us if you have any queries.

Regards,

Joshna L

I just upgraded and confirmed that it resolved the issue. It was not necessary to delete bin and obj files or clean in my case. But, in general, that is good advice as sometimes Visual Studio does janky things. Visual Studio 2022 has been buggy since it's release but MSFT are pushing out bug fixes as we go (per usual).
