When using the Free Text Annotaion other annotations are selected when clicked

When drawing free text annotations and clicking on an existing (non free text) annotation the viewer selects the annotation instead of drawing over it. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

We can be able to reproduce the reported behavior while adding free text annotation on our end, we will analyze further on this and will update further details on 15^th June 2022.
