Impossible to type whitespaces on Mac, in Grid text fields

Question

Hi,There seems to be an issue with the Grid (JS, Angular, React) on Macbook and iOS, when doing inline editing of Text fields.For example, when going there: https://ej2.syncfusion.com/angular/demos/#/bootstrap5/grid/normal-editOn PC if you double click to edit the CustomerID, you can type any text and whitespaces as well.On Mac or iOS, you can't type whitespaces as they seem to be trimmed as soon as you type them.The same applies here if you try to edit the Customer Name with inline editor:https://ej2.syncfusion.com/react/demos/#/bootstrap5/grid/normal-editThanks!Simon

Hi Customer,Sorry for the inconvenience,Currently we are validating the reported behavior  (Impossible
to type whitespaces in Grid text fields) at our end with Macbook

as a bug and logged the defect report “Not able to type whitespaces in
inline edit text fields on Mac” for the same. Thank you for taking the time

release which is expected to be rolled out by the July 13th,

Hi Simon,   Sorry for the late reply.   Due to some
internal complexities, we were not able to include the fix for the issue ‘Not
able to type whitespaces in inline edit text fields on Mac’ as promised. We
are working on it with high priority and will include it in our VOL2 SP release
scheduled to rolled out in the mid of August .We apologize for the inconvenience caused and appreciate
