Carousel-Dynamically load items and item click event

Hi there guys

Is there a way to dynamically load the images into the carousel control? And also be able to , once a button is clicked, load another group of images?

Also, is there an event which is associated to the click/tap on a certain image? Or maybe associated to when I tap on it and after it finishes loading its preview?

I have tried the carousel_clicked, doubleclicked, ItemSelectionChanging, ItemSelectionChanged but they eventually are triggered even though I am just sliding through the images.
