The Save As function is taking too long

Hello,

I would like to report a bug where the Save As function (from File Menu) is taking too long to export a specific file in Spreadsheet component to MS Excel or PDF file. It is taking at least few minutes and using a lot of memory resources on the way to finish processing in the ASP.NET Core backend project.

Also, there is a huge difference between the input (~80KB) and output (~1278KB)  files sizes.

Here are the steps to reproduce this bug using the attached MS Excel file:

  1. Open the attached file using the Open function from File Menu.
  2. After successfully opening, try to save the file as a new MS Excel file with '.xlsx' extension or PDF file using the Save As function from File Menu.
We are using the Spreadsheet component v. 19.4.43 on the front-end side and Syncfusion.EJ2.Spreadsheet.AspNet.Core v. 19.4.0.50 NuGet Package on ASP.NET Core backend side.

We have checked your reported issue and considered this as an improvement, and it will be available in our Essential Studio Volume 2 2022 main release which is scheduled for end of June 2022. You can track the status of this improvement using below feedback portal link,
