How do filters on BindingSource and sorting in grid work together?

Hello,


I have an SfDataGrid bound to a DataView. The DataView is being filtered by the Rowfilter property. When the data grid is sorted by clicking on a column header, the row filter of the view is being removed. Why does a new sort order remove the filter from the DataView? How can I prevent this?

Hi Andreas Bartels,

We have created a bug report for the reported issue "Filter applied by using RowFilter property of DataView is cleared while sorting the GridColumn in SfDataGrid". We will fix and include it in our Essential Studio 2022 Volume 1 SP release scheduled for mid May 2022.
