How to limit the docking targets

In the document manager, I want to limit docking to the center of the container. I do not want to include the left, right, top, or bottom. Please see the enclosed zip for an image.

How can I tell the DockingManager which docking regions to use?

Hi Russ,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you,

DockHints of the DragProvider can be disabled or Enabled through the attached property DockAbility of the DockingManager.

Based on Target window state , Enabling the center Dockhints differs.

  1. When the target window is in dock sate use DockTabbed as a value to DockAbility Attached property
  2. When the target window is in document sate use DocumentTabbed as a value to DockAbility Attached property

Please refer the below sample and the Documentation link for your reference
