Adding New Annotations

When you add a new annotation (example: rectangle), you guys have some code that makes sure PART of the new annotation is in the current view, no matter how zoomed in/panned the view is.

Is there any way to make sure the ENTIRE new annotation is within the current view?

Based on our current implementation behavior, the newly added shape will be positioned at the center of the visible region. But currently, we don’t have the support to ensure the new annotation is within the current view. But we have already logged a feature request to get the zoomed in visible portion of image on screen. Using this support, we can ensure the selected shape bounds is with the zoomed visible portion in the image selected event. We can track this feature through our feedback portal below.

Please cast your vote to make it count. We will prioritize the features every release based on the demands, and we don’t have an immediate plan to implement this feature and it will be included in any of our upcoming releases.

If you have any more specifications/suggestions to the feature request, you can add them as a comment in the portal.
