I am not sure what you mena by the column value for a row that is being deleted. I assume there are likely several columns in teh row you want to delete.
You can use the RowsDeleting event to be notified that rows are about to be deleted. The event args have From and To properties that tell you the range of rows being deleted. So, if rowIndex points to a row in this range, and colIndex is some column for which you want the value, you can use this.grid[rowIndex, colIndex].CellValue to retrieve the value of that cell.

You would use grid[rowIndex, hiddenColIndex].CellValue to retrieve the value of the hidden column.
