I updated Visual Studio 2022 to v17.2.0 Preview 2.0 today to get my hands on .NET MAUI Preview 14. To my dismay, Syncfusion is broken even though I updated all of my NuGet packages to 19.4.56-preview. I have simply created a new MAUI app, and installed the NuGet package for Syncfusion.Maui.Core and inserted the call to ConfigureSyncfusionCore in MauiProgram and the app will not start. Simple new Maui project with the Core Nuget package installed and the call to ConfigureSyncfusionCore causes the following error to occur during app startup:
Unhandled exception at 0x00007FF9DFAB8164 (Microsoft.ui.xaml.dll) in MauiApp1.exe: 0xC000027B: An application-internal exception has occurred (parameters: 0x00000195749DDEA0, 0x0000000000000002).
This is a deal breaker guys... :-(
Hi Suganya,
This response is really not acceptable. You know the Maui rollout schedule and had plenty of time to test these issues prior to you updating your most recent NuGet updates. What you are saying is that I am dead in the water for two to three more weeks to get my hands on things you have indicated are already done. I can't be held hostage for my development by your inaction. Figure out a way to roll these fixes ASAP. They cannot wait until the end of the month to be deployed.
Yes, when working with prereleases and previews, it is acknowledged that things will break. But, now that I have updated my VS environment to the latest release so I can get access to things that Microsoft has fixed in the Maui base means I cannot do any development on several crucial aspects of my application - one in which I was planning on purchasing your product. If this is the way you operate - always behind instead of leading, may cause me to look at Telerik for a solution.

Steve Miller
