Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at Syncfusion.Licensing.FusionLicenseProvider.ValidateCallingfromMAUIAssembly ()

Question

I get the error when calling

using (ExcelEngine excelEngine = new ExcelEngine())

version for the control is 19.4.0.54

This was working previously, and I'm not aware of changing anything. I upgraded the version of the control after getting it with a previous one and I also obtained a new licence from SyncFusions.
