Save code display description

If I want to save M and F in my database, but want to display Male and Female in the datagrid, which gridcolumn type should I use? Thank you.

We have analyzed your query to display a column value in text & value pair and we can achieve this requirement in Syncfusion Grid component. Grid control support following column types. Before proceeding further with your query, kindly share us the below details for further assistance. 

  1. Kindly share the model class / column type of the column whether it is an Enum, Complex or ForeignKey column.  
  2. Share us the Grid code snippet.
  3. You can achieve your requirement using column template feature too
  4. If possible share us the issue reproduceable sample.

I managed to get this to work using GridForeignColumn (although the sort and filter on this column are much slower now). Thanks for your help.
