Is it possible to select a row on hover?

Hi,

I have a datagrid of 'parent elements' and when I hover over a row a tooltip opens. Within the tooltip is another datagrid that shows the associated 'children elements' + 2 hyperlinks, similar to this.

But I am struggling to find how to select the parent row (The Matrix) on hover, so the correct information from the parent element can be used to populate the list + when clicking the hyperlinks. Is there a way to achieve this?
