Certain PDFs when zoomed in are "jumping" around

Since approx after 19.2 specifically on Android this wild behaviour drives users crazy. Multi layered (but not only) documents once loaded into view are required a zoom in and markup. 

What happens is they zoom in and scroll into another area of the page, but after pinch, when you lift fingers the view jumps either into left top corner or random position, but not the one you left it.

Has anyone seen this kind of stuff?

We were unable to reproduce the issue, “Zooming in and markup the PDF will jumping around” and it is working as expected. Could you please try the attached sample and let us know whether we have missed out anything while replicating the issue. 

  

Kindly share the following details to analyze more on this issue and assist you with the better solution   

1.Simple sample/ modify the attached sample to reproduce the issue.  

2.Replication video/procedure to reproduce the issue. 

3.PDF document  

4. Device info.

We were able to reproduce the issue, “Zoom In is not working properly for particular PDF and jumping into random position after Zoom In”. Currently, we are validating this issue and we will update the further details on February 23, 2022.

We have confirmed that the issue “PDF pages are not rendering properly while zooming a particular PDF document in Xamarin.Forms Android platform” is a defect and logged a defect report for this issue. The patch for this issue will be delivered on March 16, 2022.

We have resolved the issue 
PDF pages are not rendering properly while zooming a particular PDF document in Xamarin.Forms Android platform and the custom NuGet for the same can be downloaded from the following link.        
Disclaimer: Please note that we have created this NuGet for version 19.4.0.56 specifically to resolve the following issue reported in this forum 172950 
Note : Kindly follow the steps to clear the NuGet cache and then install patched NuGet to get the issue resolved.

This fix will be included in our 2022 Volume 1 main release which is expected to be available in the month of March 2022.

We have tested the custom nuget which we provided in our previous update and it is working fine for us. 
We suspect that nuget is not installed properly in your sample. Please clear the old nuget packages before installing the nuget we provided in our previous update.

We are performing tile rendering only after the zooming completed. So it will take some time to render the page.

We have tested the nuget in our emulator. But we were unable to reproduce the issue and it is working fine for us.
