How to change built-in toolbar text and tooltip

I would like to be able to change the text and tooltip for the built-in "Add" toolbar item. I would like the behavior to be the same as Add, but with a different label. Is it possible?  I see of EJs controls to set the local, but I don't see that as an available attribute for SfGrid.
