EnableAdaptiveUI with MasterDetail

Gentlemen,

firstly I would like to thank you for the EnableAdaptiveUI and RowRenderingMode possibility, it saves a lot of time for me.

On the other hand I would like to draw your kind attention that these functions are not working well with a Master-detail grid. When I open the Detail part, the screen messes up (please see the attached screenshot).

The detail grid is also defined as EnableAdaptiveUI =true and I tread with both RowRenderingMode = "RowDirection.Vertical" and without it. None of them is nice.

  1. Share a simple issue reproducing sample based on your scenario for us to validate.
  2. Share a video demo showing the replication of the problem you are facing.
  3. Share the complete Grid rendering codes and model class codes.
 
The provided information will help us analyze the problem, and provide you a solution as early as possible.

Dear Renjith,

please find attached a sample project made by your Hierarchy grid example. Please start the app with a very narrow browser, like I show it on the attached screenshot. If you open the Detail part, the screen messes up.

We don’t have support for rendering EnableAdaptiveUI in vertical mode with DetailTemplate feature of Grid. We have listed the features which are supported with EnableAdaptiveUI in vertical mode. We suggest you to refer to the below documentation for the supported features for rendering Grid in adaptive rendering in vertical mode.

Sorry for the late answer. I understand you don't support it now. Do you have any plan to include this into the supported functions, please?

If not, what do you suggest: how can one implement a hierarchy grid what should be responsive too, or at least looking g?

Hi Peter, 
 
As informed in our previous update, this is a limitation from our side for rendering DetailTemplate in vertical mode. As it is a limitation, it is not possible to implement support which is already considered as limitation. Currently we don’t have plans to consider support for this limitation from our side. 
 
Kindly refer the below list for the features supported in vertical mode,
