Highlight Rectangle annotations block PDF form fields on iOS

Hello,

I have been creating an app that involves highlighting areas of a form to emphasize certain fields, and then allowing a user to change the values of inputs (checkboxes, text boxes, etc) within the highlighted region.

I have been able to produce this behavior correctly in Android, however no setting I change has allowed a user to click through an annotation on iOS.

I have attached a sample project to this forum post, inside is a .sln with the problem isolated and 2 screen recordings demonstrating the current behavior on each platform.

Do you have any advice on how to proceed, or is this a bug? If there is any further clarification you need I would be happy to provide.

Thank you for helping,

Scott Love

Hi Scott,

Based on our behavior, form field annotations layout is always set to lower z order. So, form field annotation underneath the other annotation layer cannot be accessed. From our understanding, your requirement is to highlight some of the form fields in pdf which user wants to select and edit form field. If this is your requirement, can we provide support to change the color of the specific form fields which user wants to change? and if this suits your requirement please confirm us to proceed further.
