Autocomplete allow typed item that wasn't found to be added to datasource

Is there a way to allow the autocomplete to add item that's not found to the datasource so it can be saved and come up the next time that same item is typed?

This would allow a scenario like list of names being suggested and if the name does not exist it can be added for the next search.

Hi Shalom,

We have prepared a sample based on your requirement. In this example, when we click the button in the footer view, we add the item that is not in DataSource to SfAutoComplete's DataSource.
