Convert existing pdf to pdf/a document

Hi,

we are trying to convert existing PDF document to PDF/A-3 by following the example stated in documentation - https://help.syncfusion.com/file-formats/pdf/working-with-pdf-conformance#pdf-to-pdfa-conversion.

New PDF is generated ok, but is not considered to be valid pdf/a document according the ISO standard. (used validator available on https://www.zugferd-community.net/).

Somewhere I read, that Syncfusion is not able to properly convert existing pdf document to pdf/a - is this true?

How is it really? 

We need to create Zugferd document, where valid pdf/a is a must.

We checked with our test documents, it is working as expected. We request you to share the reported issue faced PDF documents with product version details to replicate the issue and analyze further to provide the precise solution for this.

Once you've created your PDF in Acrobat, simply follow these steps.

Select Tools, and then select PDF Standards.

Click Save As PDF/A.

Choose the location where you want to save your PDF/A file.
