How to pin a specific row to the top of the grid based on a field value?

Hi,

How would I pin a row to the top of the grid where say Company Name == "Some Company"?

Hi Usman,

Greetings from Syncfusion support.

We are not able to clearly understand your requirement from the provided information. Do you wish to apply grouping for particular columns by pinning them to the top of the Grid? If so, please check the below documentation and online demo sample links for more details on this,

If this does not meet your requirement, then please elaborate on your exact requirement with pictorial representation(if possible) to validate further.

Say if I have a data grid with the following rows : CompanyName, Sales, Gross, etc. I want to pin the row where CompnayName is "CompanyA" as the first row and I want that to persist even when sorting and what not happens.

Hi Usman,

By default, in our EJ2 Grid, the rows are rendered based on the datasource. If you are performing any actions in the Grid like sorting, the column was sorted based on the datasource value. So, it is not feasible to pin the specific row at the top of the Grid.
