Datagrid in MAUI Blazor app much slower than datagrid in Blazor webassembly app. Why?

Hi y'all,

I created a Blazor webassembly app (.net 6), a MAUI Blazor app and a shared Razor Control Library containing a control that uses a syncfusion datagrid with static data (675 items, paged, 30 per page).
Bot the Razor webassembly app and the MAUI Blazor app use the same control in the shared lib.
If I run the Blazor app on a mainstream tablet (tried iPad Air 2 and a Samsung Tab A) by browsing to it deployed on Azure, it runs fine and navigating to the control (after initial load) shows the datagrid within 1 second. That is fine.
When I deploy the MAUI version (Release) to the same tablet (the Tab A), and navigating to the same page/control with the datagrid on it, it takes around 4 seconds to display.
Does anyone know why that difference is so large?
Any way to speed this up? Having to wait 4 seconds to display 30 records in the datagrid is, of course, bad UX.

Would appreciate your insights.

Thanks for your patience. 

Based on your shared details, we have created an application in MAUI with Syncfusion DataGrid component and ensure the reported case in android device emulator. We could not able to reproduce the mentioned delay while loading page which containing the Grid component. The DataGrid component is loaded with data immediately without any delay. Find the below sample and video for your reference. 



Also, we need more details regarding the reported problem. Could you please share the below details? It will be helpful to validate and provide a better solution.  

  • Whether did you face the problem in local mobile devices after deploying?
  • Whether did you face the problem while running the application in android device emulator?
  • Reproduce the problem in the provided sample and revert back to us.
  • Share a simple reproducible sample if possible.
  • Video demonstration of the problem.
