Disable automatic selecting value

When I want to edit a value in the NumericTextbox it automatic selects the value (like the select() function). Is it possible to disable this and if so, what should I do for it?

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support. 

We suspect that you need to prevent the initial selection of value while focusing the NumericTextbox. Also, please confirm the exact platform EJ1 or EJ2 to proceed further with this requirement.
