Vue Grid no records to display text

Hi,

This is a small enhancement - to improve the displayed text when there is no data to display. For cases where the first column is narrow (for example when enabling drag & drop or when adding a checkbox column (column with type=’checkbox’)), and there is no data to display, the text is shown in multiple lines.

Hi Liraz,

By default, the empty row will be rendered with a single “td” element with col span of the available column count in a row. We have tried to reproduce the reported scenario at our end, but it is working fine. Please refer to the below sample for reference.

So kindly share the below details that will be helpful for us to validate the scenario further

  1. Share the Grid code with column definition
  2. Are you using any text wrapping style to the Grid?
  3. Share the Syncfusion package version

Hi,

It is happening when there is only one column. The text is shown in multiple lines. I can overcome it by overriding the e-emptyrow class:

.e-emptyrow {
    white-space: nowrap;
}

Thanks,
