How to resolve black line like border in child form?

Hi, I have problem when open MDI child form in normal window state showing black line, something like border.

Hi Stjepan,

Based on provided information we have prepared the simple sample by adding MDI child in SfForm. Your reported scenario is the border of MDI Child in SfForm. This is expected behavior of SfForm. Please find the teste sample in the below link,

We would like to let you know that Essential Studio Weekly NuGet packages (v24.2.7) has been published in nuget.org with the fix for the issue “Black line is showing in left when adding SfForm as MDI child with TabbedMDIManager”. Please let us know if you have any concerns in this.



Root cause:


To draw the SfForm, we calculate the client area size and clip it using the clip rectangle. When FormBorderStyle is set to none, the client area and clip rectangle should be equal. However, in this case, the calculated  clip rectangle  being smaller than the client area which causes a Blackline issue. We resolved this by ensuring that the clip rectangle size equals the  client area.
