How to add existing ribbon Button to another ribbon Group

When programmatically adding existing button located in "Tab 1 -> Group 1 -> Btn" to another ribbon group located in "Tab 1 -> Group 2 -> Btn" using following code ( Group2.Items.Add(Btn); ), the Btn is removed from Group 1 and is kept in Group 2 only. We want to keep button persistent on both Groups.  Same think when Syncfusion Ribbon customization is used instead. We are using Ribbon v16.1460.0.24 and this customization does not fully suit us so we want to use own customization. Desired solution is displayed on picture below.

Please can You tell how to achieve the same button to be presented on different Groups/Panels? Thanks

Hi Pavol,

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support.

RibbonControlAdv Tab and TabItems can customized in run time using Ribbon Customization window. Ribbon Customization window can be opened by right clicking on the Ribbon and selecting Customize the Ribbon or by clicking the dropdown button in Quick Access Toolbar and selecting More Commands option. Following that, you can create multiple ToolStripEx groups and then add the same buttons to each group. We are currently testing the similar scenario by adding the buttons using Customize the Ribbon in the Designer. We’ll check and provide the further details on January 21, 2021. We recommend to add the button to the ToolStripEx groups at run-time.

Please refer the following screenshot for your reference.

Could you please try the above solution and let me know the reported issue has been resolved or not. Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

Hi Pavol,

The elements of one Toolstrip cannot be used by other Toolstrips. It is the actual behavior of Toolstrip. If you want to preserve it, please watch the Ribbon customization video we sent you previously.
