Hi,
This page shows an example of how the Assistants feature is supposed to work in the new version :
https://blazor.syncfusion.com/documentation/diagram/layout/organizational-chart#assistant
But, it does not explain what the properties really mean.
Root ? Assistants? What field/property do they refer to?
How do you define assistants for multiple parents? e.g. A is assistant of B,

Root? Assistants? What field/property do they refer to? |
By using the LayoutInfo property, we can able to define the assistant for the layout. In the Root property set, the node which you would like to define the parent for the assistant and assistants property is used to define the node which is set to be assistant for the parent node.
we will consider your suggestion to add more details about the assistant property in our documentation. We have logged a documentation improvement task for your suggestion and We will include the documentation changes in our main release Volume 4 2021 SP release which will be available at end of January. We will let you know once the documentation gets refreshed in live. |

Hi Paul,
Currently, we don’t have support to add multiple assistants for multiple parents in our diagram layout. We have logged “Provide support to add multiple assistants for multiple parent’s layout.” as a feature. We do not have any immediate plans to start this feature. We will implement this feature in any one of our upcoming releases.
You can track the feature status from the below link
