Future maintenance issues for programs created using syncfusion.

Hi Syncfusion team,

Currently, we have a plan to create a program through syncfusion and deliver it to another company.

The company that distributed it also asks if it needs a Syncfusion license to use the program.

In other words, after the license we purchased is terminated, we ask if the license is maintained so that the program can be used even if the company that distributed the program does not purchase the license.

The acquiring company must have the proper licensing - please contact [email protected] for specific pricing

hi Ryan,

I'm very embarrassed by your answer.

Attached is the answer that our development team received before purchasing the license for syncfusion.

Hello,

Thank you for that clarification.

Again, as long as you are providing a completed application/website to the customer, that is no problem.

Best,

Hello,

Is it okay to provide development sources for websites from other manufacturers?

Hello,

As long as you are selling a finished application then no there is no problem.

Hello,

When purchasing a retail bundle

Is there any problem if we sell the application source we developed?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

According to Emily Marr, who appears to be the leader in your license team, our customers who received the finished product said they did not need to purchase a license.

(Please refer to the underlined part of the last answer.)

We are very sensitive about this issue.

We are a developer and if the customer we deliver needs additional license purchases, we do not need to use your license.

Please answer quickly and surely whether the customer who received the source needs to purchase a license.

Have a good day.

The key here is whether the application is "finished" and who has owned it...    Emily Marr (the licensing manager who reports to me) is correct: A finished product generally will not need further licensing as it is sold to customers. However, if you are building an application as a contractor for a 3rd party (and they own the IP from the beginning) that requires the 3rd party to have a license.
