Not controlable objects ?

I wish to prevent specific shapes, texts and custom objects to be selected and removed, nor they should be included in Undo and Redo states.
- How to do that ?!

( everything would be amazingly super easy if the objects were exposed, and not private for reason which I can not understand )

Hi Yordan Yanakiev,

Greetings from Syncfusion.

Query 1: I wish to prevent specific shapes, texts and custom objects to be selected and removed, nor they should be included in Undo and Redo states.
We checked your requirement, and we would like to inform that we can restrict the removal of shape by hiding the delete button using the IsDeleteButtonVisible property of the ToolBarSettings class. But we can’t hide the delete button for specific shapes. By default, every edit in SfImageEditor are maintained in the undo and redo.

Query 2: everything would be amazingly super easy if the objects were exposed, and not private for reason which I cannot understand
The corresponding PenSettings/CustomViewSettings/TextSettings of the Shape/CustomView/Text can be obtained from the ItemSelected and ItemUnselected events of the SfImageEditor when select or unselect it. Also, the shapes, custom views, and texts are added dynamically and each shapes having different settings. So, we didn’t maintain the PenSettings/CustomviewSettings/TextSettings object in common. Please refer the below user guide documentation link for more information.

But most of the time the user have to do some actions from outside editor - like saving in custom variete of formats, adding specific actions like replacing objects, copying them, applying template of objects or actions and much, much more actions which have absolutely nothing to do with the events inside the editor.

Hi Yordan Yanakiev,

We have checked your query and would like to inform you that SfImageEditor has support to get the settings of the added items through the Selected/UnSelected events only and it does not have a List/Collection to get the added items along with its settings.

Regards,
Vignesh Ramesh.
