Hello,

Thank you for reply. I will check code customization and in case any issue I will let you know.
Despite this issue I would like to let you know that I tried to open file from attachment at your documentation site without success. All I had was white space inside component and below error in console:

Link to documentation site which I used: https://ej2.syncfusion.com/angular/demos/?_gl=1*s1j0x2*_ga*MTUzMzE2MjgzLjE2NDU4MDA1Mzg.*_ga_WC4JKKPHH0*MTY0NTgwMDUzNi4xLjEuMTY0NTgwMDkzMC4w&_ga=2.39006880.2035587992.1645800539-153316283.1645800538#/material/spreadsheet/default

Furthermore I would like to ask a few questions:

1. What mathematical formulas are possible to use in the excel component ?
2. Is there currently any work on extending the available formulas in this component? We are especially interested in the formula for calculating the standard deviation
3. Where I can download a set of documentation for individual formulas that can be selected in a component. We are especially interested in mathematical equations that are performed in specific formulas

Kind regards
Damian Szwajkos

Hello,
I have question directly about formulas at SpreadSheet component.

  1. If there is any chance for imported data (i.e. numbers) from file to component to keep commas (",") instead of dots (".")? - Commas should be kept after import.  As example you can use file from the attachments.
  2. Does the SpreadSheet component have  formula for calculating the standard deviation and T-Tests formula?

Kind regards
Damian Szwajkos

Hi Damian,

Query 1: white space inside component and below error in console

Currently, we don’t have support to import custom date formats with ;@. However, we have logged this as an improvement, and it will be available in any of our upcoming releases. You can track the status of this improvement using the below link from our feedback portal.

As of now, we will fix the console error and the fix will be available in our upcoming patch release which is scheduled for March 30th,2022.

Query 2: What mathematical formulas are possible to use in the excel component?

Please find the below link which shows the list of supported formulas.

Query 3: We are especially interested in the formula for calculating the standard deviation,
Query 4: Does the SpreadSheet component have formula for calculating the T-Tests formula?

Currently, we don’t have support for Standard deviation and T formula. However, we have logged this as an improvement, and it will be available in any of our upcoming releases. You can track the status of this improvement using below link from our feedback portal.

Hello,

What is the best excel file format to import into spreadsheet? The point here is to avoid issues like this below with more complex files.

Kind regards
Damian Szwajkos

Hi Damian,

We have supported the below formats in spreadsheet. Please check the below documentation link.

https://ej2.syncfusion.com/angular/documentation/spreadsheet/open-save/#supported-file-formats

Could you please share the below details,

  • Share excel file which caused the issue.
  • Share the excel file version.
  • Share how you open the excel file (either excel file or JSON data).
  • Share the Essential studio version you are using.

This will be helpful for us to validate further.
