Block calendar that spans more than 1day

Is it possible to block the calendar that spans more than 1 day (just one data record) ?

Should not be a recurrence

For example: 

  1. Physician: Robert Johnson
  2. PTO Start DateTime: August 8, 9:00 AM
  3. PTO End DateTime: August 10, 5:00 PM

I'd like it to block:

  • August 8, 9:00AM to 12 MN
  • August 9, 12AM to 12MN
  • August 10, 12AM to 5:00 PM

Currently, it displays like this in my calendar . It is placed at the very top of the time

We have validated your reported query “Is it possible to block the calendar that spans more than 1 day (just one data record)” at our end and we suspect that you want to render more than 24 hours appointments in the scheduler work area. Currently, in the scheduler, we couldn’t render appointments more than 24 hours in the work area. We have already considered this requirement to render appointments more than 24 hours in the work area instead of the all-day row as a feature request and logged the below feedback. 
 
  
The feature will be implemented in our upcoming volume 4, 2021 main release which is expected to be rolled out by end of December. We appreciate your patience until then.

Hi Bob,


We have included the feature for the spanned events rendering on the timeslots. You can achieve this feature by making use of the spannedEventPlacement field in the eventSettings property like the below code snippet.


    eventSettings: {

        dataSource: data,

        spannedEventPlacement: 'TimeSlot'

      },
