Localization files

Hello!,

We have localized our vue syncfusion controls obtaining the the locale json files from here https://github.com/syncfusion/ej2-locale as explained in the documentation

After that, we have detected some translation failures in the french and spanish languages that we are using, but we are not sure if this translations are officially maintained by Syncfusion or not. ¿Could you clarify this point?

We need some clarification regarding your reported issue. So, could you please share us the below things at your end: 

1.       Can you please confirm which Syncfusion-product you have used in your application like either Document Editor or any other product? 

2.       Kindly share us more detail about the reported problem such us screenshot or video demonstration of the reported problem. 

3.       Syncfusion product version which you are using in your application. 

This will be more helpful to reproduce the same issue at our end. Thereby, we will proceed further on the reported issue and provide you the appropriate solution at the earliest.  

Note: We just need above things to recreate the problem you face.

Hi Kurthis, 

I am refering to some translations in the spanish and french json files available here: https://github.com/syncfusion/ej2-locale/ 

Next you can see some mistakes (not all)  we found in the spanish file ( https://github.com/syncfusion/ej2-locale/blob/master/src/es.json )

"Table": "Mesa" 

"NestTable": "Mesa nido"

documenteditorcontainer

"Redo Tooltip": "Rehaga la última operación (Ctrl + Y)."

In these cases the correct translations is spanish must be:

"Table": "Tabla" 

 "NestTable": "Tabla anidada"

 "Redo Tooltip":  Rehacer la última operación (Ctrl + Y)."

We also found some mistakes in the french translations

We are cross checked your reported query. In Document Editor locale values, we have considered the locales equivalent to MS word translations. 

For your reference, please find the screenshots illustrations in below.  

 

 

If we translate table, it shows mesa. Same we have considered.

You can customize your locale values based on your requirement.
