Angular 12.2.8 / syncfusion grid 19.3.44 / syncfusion tabs enablePersistence problem

We are converting our Angular 11 Application with Syncfusion 18.4.x components to an Angular 12 version with Syncfusion 19.3.x. components.
After the conversion I can see a lot of improvements in the usage with the Syncfusion components. Very happy with that. There is only one showstopper. The

[enablePersistence]="true"

    function is not working anymore in our grids and tabs.

Running local, making a test build or production build does not make any difference. Where in our previous version I could see the entry in the local storage, there now no data.

Is the way enablePersistence is handled different in Angular 11.x/Syncfusion 19.2.x version versus Angular 12 or is this a known bug?

Kind regards,

Bob Fiering
