ShowTimeBreak="True" breaks Load more automatically

ShowTimeBreak="True" breaks Load more automatically

Load More Automatically detailed here - https://help.syncfusion.com/xamarin/listview/loadmore works as expected.
However, if you set ShowTimeBreak="True" Load more automatically will fail.

I am currently working on a project that needs to load more automatically and show the time break - so it is very important to me to get this fixed.

I am using the latest build: 18.2.0.59

If you need any more information, please let me know.

=> Today, it still not working.
Are you sure you fixed it after long time?

Thanks

Hi Nguyen,

Thanks for your patience.

We would like to let you know that we have used SfListView inside the SfChat control and the LoadMoreBehavior with Auto issue is a limitation of SfListView control. Please refer the limitation for Loadmore option limitation of SfListView in the following help documentation.

Please let us know if you require any other assistance from us

Regards,
Suja.

That thing relative to ShowTimeBreak?

Why when I set ShowTimeBreak = True, It can not Auto Loadmore?

I need a solution to Loadmore Auto. Because SfChat has LoadMoreBehavior property. But I can't use this?

Very bad answer.

Hi Nguyen,

Thanks for your patience.

We have analyzed the source deeply, regrading LoadMore feature and found that it is not considered when ShowTimeBreak is enabled since SfChat and SfListView does not have support for this case , because SfListView has a limitations that is LoadMoreOption.Auto or LoadMoreOption.AutoOnScroll will be worked only  when LoadMorePosition.Bottom and already we considered this as feature request in SfListView. Moreover, we can consider the case “Busy indicator is still running on top position” and provide the solution  in sample level or in our source code.

Suja

And half a year later you can't find anything about it in the sfChat documentation. Is there any further work on making ShowTimeBreak and LoadMoreBehavior.Auto compatible? If not, then this should at least be included in the sfChat documentation.
