diagram component interaction not working on iPhone

Hi,

I have spent days wonder why I could not click and drag in my diagram component on the iPhone and then I found that your demo https://blazor.syncfusion.com/demos/diagramcomponent/flowchart has the exact same issues. I'm sure that there are many more issues but the following fundamental features do not work on the iPhone:

  1. You cannot drag an item from the symbol palette into the diagram
  2. You cannot move and item in the diagram
  3. You cannot Re-size any item in the diagram
The classic diagram works fine but I expected at least the basic features to be available in the newer diagram component. I am very disappointed since weeks of development into my app and the diagram is a critical component, at the very least it should be mentioned that it is not compatible with iPhone. I have invested Please advise me if there is a work around or do I need to revert to the classic diagram?

Hi Simon,

In classic diagram we have touch interaction support for diagram and palettes.  But we don’t have Touch interaction support in our Native diagram control. We have logged “Touch interaction support for nodes and connectors in the native diagram component” as a feature. We does not have any immediate plans to start this feature. We will implement this feature in any one of our upcoming releases.

You can track the feature status from the below link

We suggest you use the classic diagram component for touch interaction support.

Not having touch support in 2021 is unbelievable! I have wasted a lot of development effort on this and now have to refactor to a different component so this is not really great news. Anyway, thank you for letting me know.
