Saving a document with docx format doesn't include docProps folder internally with metadata information

When we save a document in docx format, internally, the generated docx file, does not contain the "docProps" with the document metadata information. On the other hand if we create a docx file with the microsoft word editor we can see that this folder with the metadata is included inside the document.

There is something that we could do to save the document including this information?


To reproduce:

  1. With de vue Document editor save a document selecting the docx option format.
  2. Change the extension from .docx to .zip.
  3. Inspect the zip file and check that none "docProps"exist.
  4. Repeat the previous steps with a document with the Microsoft word editor and check that in this case the folder "docProps" was included.

Hi Gaspar, 

We are cross checked your requirement. Currently, we don’t have a built-in and custom document properties(docProps) in Word document created by Document editor. 

 We have considered and logged this as feature request. We will include this feature in any of our upcoming release.         

We usually have an interval of at least three months between the releases. At the planning stage for every release cycle, we review all open features once again and finalize features for implementation based on specific parameters including product vision, technological feasibility, and customer interest. We will let you know when this feature is implemented.
