Create multi-day events, specifying start and end time.

Hi all!

I am working with a certain type of events, which are repeated during several days in the same schedule. I know I could create several events, one for each day of the event and with the specific schedule, but this way I would end up with a lot of different events in my calendar.

I would like to be able to create an event that has a start time, an end time, a start day and an end day.

Once created, it would appear as in the picture, only instead of being in the first row of the calendar, it would be in the time range that corresponds to it.

¿Is this possible? Thanks in advance!

Sergio

Hi Sergio,

Greetings from Syncfusion Support.

Currently in scheduler the appointments of vertical view which is greater than or equal to 24 hours will render in all-day row. We have already considered this requirement ‘rendering the appointments in work cells’ as feature request and logged the below feedback.

The feature will be implemented in any of our upcoming releases. At the planning stage for every release cycle, we will review all the open features and identify features for implementation based on specific parameters including product vision, technological feasibility, and customer interest and its importance in component. Priority will be given to feature request which has maximum number of votes. So, we request you to keep track of the status through the above feedback link.

I see, thanks!

Besides all, despite that feature is very useful, in my use case will not work as I expected.

If I create an appointment that lasts one week, but only occurs since 15:00 to 18:00, I don't want to see that appointment displaying inside all day-column, as we can see in the picture.

Anyways, thanks again for the quick response :) I suppose this kind of use case will be considered during the implementation.

Best regards,

Sergio

Hi Sergio,

Thanks for your update.

When implementing this feature, all the appointments will be rendered in work-area. Please track the status of the feature through the shared feedback and add your specifications (if any) about the feature in comment section of the feedback to make the feature better.

Nevitha
