Strangely, if I create the control on a new form, it displays correctly.

Hello Thirupathi,

This is by way information.

I have just realised the problem with sfCombobox issues nesting. The problem only comes up when it is nested in panel and tablelayout controls

Thanks

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your update.

We have checked your provided code. but we could not able to prepare the sample to check this issue. We have received the Error list, while build the code

We have prepared the sample based on your code SfComboBox nested in the panel and TableLayoutPanel. And the Dropdown button displayed correctly in SfComboBox. Please refer the below sample for the same.

Please check the above sample and confirm our replication procedure is same as yours.  If not please modify the above sample or share your sample project to reproduce the reported issue. It will be helpful for us to provide the prompt solution on this

Hi Paul,

Thanks for providing reproducible sample files.

We were able to reproduce the reported issue in your sample. Meanwhile, we created a simple sample based on your nested structures such as TableLayoutPanel, Panel, GroupBox, and SfComboBox. In this case, we are unable to reproduce the reported issue in our working sample. We are currently validating the reported issue by comparing the code changes to your sample. We will provide additional information on September 8th, 2021.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your patience.

We compared our working sample to a reproducible sample, and the difference was determined to be the AutoScaleDimensions value. To avoid the DPI issue, we suggested the following guidelines.

·         Always edit/design your apps in default 96 DPI (100%). If you design in 120DPI (125% f.ex) it will get really bad when you go back to 96 DPI to work with it later.
·         All containers must use the same AutoScaleMode.
·         Make sure all containers have the below line set in the Designer.cs file: this.AutoScaleDimensions = new System.Drawing.SizeF(6F, 13F); // for design in 96 DP

Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

Thirupathi B.
