sfRIchTextEditor does not fire Tapped event

Question

I am adding the  tapped gesture recognizer to sfRichTextEditor but the Tapped event is not triggered. Do you know why? How to make it work?

We were able to reproduce the issue “Tapped event is not trigged in RichTextEditor” in our side. We have forwarded this query to our development team for further analysis and we will update further details by 1st September 2021.

Thank you for your patience.  
 
Since RichTextEditor relies on WebView with Custom Renderer, as there is a limitation for raising tapped event while adding gesture programmatically” and it is a framework issue and we have logged an issue to Xamarin team in the below mentioned link.
